1. About My Fedora

The My Fedora website, Street Artists Network and Halo Pulse service are owned and operated by Jamie Callis trading as My Fedora, a registered business name under ABN 19 643 547 178 (“My Fedora”, “we”, “us”). My Fedora provides a street-artist network and technology that helps people discover and support independent artists. Halo Pulse is a physical access point to that network.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to create an artist account or connect a payout account. You must provide accurate information, protect your login details and promptly tell us at support@myfedora.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access.

An artist who activates payments must create or connect their own seller account with the payment provider offered for their selected country, complete that provider's verification and provide accurate business and payout information. The artist is responsible for their provider account and compliance with the provider's applicable terms.

3. Free profiles, official QRs and My Fedora's zero platform fee

A My Fedora artist profile and the artist-profile features made available with it are free. My Fedora does not deduct a platform, commission or service fee from an artist support payment. The supporter pays the amount they authorise, and the payment is created in the selected artist's connected provider account.

The payment provider charges processing fees under the artist's agreement with that provider. My Fedora does not receive those fees. In Australia, Square's current online rate is 2.2%, with no fixed per-payment fee. Provider rates can vary by country, payment method, card origin and currency.

While Halo Pulse is in development, My Fedora offers one official support QR to each of the first 1,000 verified artists who activates one. For this offer, a verified artist must have an artist profile verified by My Fedora, a published profile and an active supported payment destination. The offer ends when 1,000 official QRs have been activated or Halo Pulse goes on sale, whichever occurs first.

An official QR validly activated during this early-access period remains permanently reserved to that artist account, is limited to one per artist and cannot be transferred or sold. The QR follows the artist's current profile and selected support destination. After the early-access offer ends, official My Fedora QRs are provided as the scan backup included with Halo Pulse. Free artist profiles remain available independently of Halo Pulse ownership.

My Fedora may temporarily pause an official QR where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, abuse, misuse, a security risk, legal requirements or a closed account. A temporary pause does not remove a validly earned early-access entitlement. QR routing also requires the connected artist profile to remain published and able to receive support.

4. Founding Artist Programme

Founding Artist status and any conditional Halo Pulse allocation are governed by the published Founding Artist Programme conditions. My Fedora's zero platform-fee promise applies equally to Founding Artists and all other artists using the service.

A conditional hardware allocation is not guaranteed unless the stated Kickstarter funding and production conditions are met.

5. Artist content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give My Fedora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, display and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload it.

You must not submit unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, malicious or privacy-invasive material. We may remove content or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, artists, the service or comply with law.

6. Support payments and regional providers

My Fedora supplies the artist page, Halo Pulse routing, checkout initiation and payment-status experience. The supported provider for the artist's selected country processes the payment in the artist's connected seller account and controls payment acceptance, verification, processing fees, receipts, holds, reserves, refunds, disputes and payout timing. My Fedora does not receive or store full card numbers or artist bank-account details.

Support is voluntary and intended for the artist identified at checkout. It is not tax-deductible and, unless an express separate offer says otherwise, does not buy goods, tickets, services or influence. Our Payments, Fees & Refunds Policy forms part of these terms.

7. Third-party services

Payment providers, including Square and Stripe where available, and linked services such as Spotify, Instagram, YouTube or ticket providers are controlled by third parties and have their own terms and privacy practices. A link or integration does not mean My Fedora controls those services. Apple Pay or Google Pay availability depends on the regional payment provider, the supporter's device, browser, wallet setup and region.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep My Fedora reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may maintain, change or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We may change payment providers or programme benefits prospectively, but will not introduce a My Fedora platform fee without clear advance notice and updated terms accepted where required by law.

9. Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, My Fedora is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, artist or supporter conduct, third-party services, or events outside our reasonable control. Any liability that can lawfully be limited is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Suspension and ending an account

You may close your account or disconnect a payment provider from your dashboard. Disconnecting a provider stops new support checkouts through that connection but does not erase records that must be retained for completed payments, disputes, fraud prevention or law. We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach, fraud, misuse, legal necessity or material risk to others.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in Victoria may hear disputes. Please contact support@myfedora.com.au first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly.
