Founding Artists
The first 100 verified artists with a complete, published My Fedora profile receive permanent numbered Founding Artist status.
Founding Artist Programme
My Fedora’s first artists will do more than join the network. They will help shape it—and receive benefits that recognise the part they played at the beginning.
The first 100 verified artists with a complete, published My Fedora profile receive permanent numbered Founding Artist status.
If Kickstarter is successfully funded and production proceeds, each Founding Artist receives one Halo Pulse from the first production run at no product cost.
Up to 25 active street performers may help test the Halo Pulse experience before wider release.
Programme conditions · Version 2
Effective 24 August 2026. These conditions explain exactly how Founding Artist status, the conditional Halo Pulse benefit and the separate Founding Ambassador opportunity work.
Artists must be at least 18, create a My Fedora artist account, provide truthful profile information, and have a genuine independent artistic practice that My Fedora can reasonably verify from the profile and public links they provide.
There is no separate Founding Artist application, required genre, follower count, audience size or subjective artistic-quality threshold. Creating and publishing a profile is free and no purchase is required.
Once an artist deliberately publishes a complete My Fedora profile, it enters My Fedora’s internal verification queue. Founding Artist status is awarded in the order My Fedora verifies eligible live profiles. Creating an account or publishing an incomplete or unverifiable profile does not reserve a place.
A completed profile must contain the artist’s public name, story or biography, city or performance location, artistic discipline, a profile image and at least one working artist, music, social or website link. My Fedora may request reasonable additional information to verify the artist or confirm completion. When status is awarded, the numbered badge is attached to the live profile and a congratulations email is sent to the account email.
Once awarded, Founding Artist status remains attached to the artist’s My Fedora account for as long as the account and My Fedora service continue to operate. It is not lost merely because the first 100 places have filled or the founding period ends.
My Fedora may remove the status where it was obtained through materially false information, where the artist requests account deletion, or after a serious or repeated breach of My Fedora’s Terms of Use. Those safeguards do not allow My Fedora to remove status simply to avoid providing an earned programme benefit.
Each of the first 100 artists validly awarded Founding Artist status is conditionally allocated one Halo Pulse from the first production run. The Halo Pulse is provided at no product cost only if the Halo Pulse Kickstarter is successfully funded and My Fedora confirms that production will proceed.
Creating a profile or receiving Founding Artist status does not mean that hardware already exists or is unconditionally guaranteed. If the Kickstarter is not successfully funded, or if My Fedora does not proceed into production, no Halo Pulse or cash substitute is owed. Permanent Founding Artist status is not affected by that outcome.
The allocation is limited to one unit per artist and My Fedora account, is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or another reward. My Fedora will cover standard delivery to one Australian address. Delivery outside Australia is subject to availability, destination restrictions and any delivery cost disclosed and agreed before dispatch.
When hardware is ready, the artist must provide accurate delivery information and complete any reasonable activation or safety steps by the stated deadline. My Fedora will allow at least 30 days to respond after sending a claim notice to the account email. If the artist does not respond after reasonable reminders, the unit may be reallocated without removing their Founding Artist status. Manufacturing and delivery dates are estimates until production is complete.
Up to 25 active public or street performers may separately be invited to become Founding Ambassadors and help test, refine and document the Halo Pulse experience. Expressing interest does not guarantee selection and does not affect eligibility for Founding Artist status or the conditional Halo Pulse benefit.
My Fedora may consider whether an applicant actively performs in public, can practically test the experience, is willing to give useful feedback and can participate safely and reliably. The selection is not based on genre, follower count or a ranking of artistic quality.
Founding Ambassador status does not create an additional hardware entitlement beyond the one conditional Halo Pulse available to an eligible Founding Artist. Ambassadors may be invited to testing, feedback, filming or launch activities, but participation does not create employment, payment or an obligation to promote My Fedora unless separately agreed in writing.
My Fedora may decline to verify duplicate, incomplete, fraudulent, unverifiable or abusive profiles. One Founding Artist status and one conditional Halo Pulse allocation are available per artist, even if the artist operates more than one profile or project.
My Fedora takes no platform fee or percentage from artist support. Independent payment providers charge their own processing fees under the artist's provider agreement. In Australia, Square's current online processing rate is 2.2%, with no fixed per-payment fee. Provider rates can vary by country, payment method and currency. Full details are in the Payments, Fees & Refunds Policy.
Participation does not create employment, partnership, agency or an obligation for an artist to promote My Fedora. Artists retain ownership of their work and remain subject to My Fedora’s general Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Payments, Fees & Refunds Policy.
My Fedora may make reasonable changes needed to correct an error, comply with law, protect participants or keep the programme technically workable. Material changes will be published here. A change will not remove permanent Founding Artist status or a conditional hardware allocation already validly earned, except where these conditions allow it, where required by law or where connected to fraud or misuse.
Questions, accessibility requests or account-email changes can be sent to support@myfedora.com.au. Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy.
